I was enticed by how amazing the building looked and the cinema room and the gym and the design, it looked fabulous and modern. Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in: The train station is literally opposite the building so location wise, it is pretty good. Many bars and restaurants in the area, Sooo very lively. Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area: If not, I would have been locked in the basement for a while with no phone service to call for help either. Thankfully some guy, came to drop his trash and opened the door from outside for me. I was going to call reception but no service in there either. I went there, dropped my trash and I wanted to leave but the door to come out didn’t open once you press the bell as we usually do and I was locked in the basement. The other day, I went to throw my trash in the basement as was requested as the chute on our floor had a problem. The concierge team are lovely… but as with everything in the world, not everyone is built the same, some would be nice, some not so. But if it was highlighted that certain things were urgent, you do get prioritised. There was a period where they were understaffed for maintenance problem, so lots of fixes in the apartment were delayed, and they would only come in during certain days of the week. How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised: Water would gather and result in black mould growing. One thing I would have preferred to know earlier is how bad the water drainage is at the kitchen sink, it is not well designed to handle regular washing.
I was not aware of the amount of socials they would organise, so if you are into that, lots of events are set up to get the people in the building together. Overall good location for those that walk and commute with public transport, not ideal for those that drive a lot. There can be groups that linger around the apartment that could be labeled as anti-social behaviour, but management takes care of these when notified. As a result of the placement of the apartment, there is limited spaces for parking, but this is made up for with nearby public transports. But at the same time it faces the river which creates the illusion of being far from the busy places. Location of apartment is near many lively restaurants, with 15 minutes walk to high street for shopping and banking.
